All cakes, fillings and icings may contain dairy, gluten, eggs, wheat and other allergens. Unfortunately, we do not cater to specific dietary requirements or allergies. If you have any concerns, please feel free to reach out for more information.
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us prior to the confirmation of their booking of any allergy requirements. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform their guests of all allergy information. Yvonne's Piece will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from the consumption of a cake.

We strive to make your cake look the way you want it to. However, it is nearly impossible to exactly recreate every cake design.
Even in recreating cakes made by me, it is nearly impossible to make the exact same cake design.

The balance is due to be paid on before pickup date, before the product leaves the premises.

It is the responsibility of the customer to check the state of the product before leaving the premises. Once the item has left the premises, Yvonne’s Piece is no longer responsible for the cake. the customer is responsible to ensure that products gets to its destination sately and is stored as per our instructions to achieve best results for taste and quality.

If, for any reason the event is required to be postponed, please contact me immediately. The new date proposed will be subject to availability. Postponement is only possible if perishable items have not yet been prepared.

  • Cakes are NOT to be transported in HOT vehicles.
  • Make sure the air conditioning is on and the car is chilled prior to pick up.
  • Cakes are to stay refrigerated until two hours before cutting.
  • Cakes are never to be placed in direct sunlight.
  • Leftover cake may be kept in the fridge for up to six days.

Cakes will come in a box. These boxes are only to be held at the bottom, never the sides.

Place the cake on a dedicated cake table. You can use a cake stand or pedestal for elevation. Make sure the cake is placed on a stable and leveled surface at all times.

We need at least a two week notice for all orders, as we are continually booked in advance. We will however try, where availability permits, to accept short notice cakes with an additional charge.
Last minute charge:
Less than two weeks: €15
Less than one week: €30
Last minute bookings come with an express charge. Last minute orders are to be paid in full within 24 hours of booking. You agree with this term when you place an order last minute.

No, to confirm your order a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to hold your date. Deposits are to be paid within 48 hours after receipt of payment details and invoice and are not refunded in case of cancellation.
If we cancel the booking due to illness or any other unforeseen circumstance, the deposit will be refunded within seven (7) days of notification to the customer.

For optimal freshness, store the cake in the refrigerator and take it out 1 to 2 hours before consumption. This ensures the perfect texture and flavor when you're ready to enjoy your delicious treat.

Due to a heavy workload, delivery is only possible for big orders (above €250) and whenever stated that delivery is possible.

Place cake on a dedicated cake table, you can use a cake stand or pedestal for elevation. Make sure the cake is placed on a stable and leveled surface at all times.

Make sure that the parts of the leftover cake that aren’t covered in frosting are covered in cling film. This shields the cake from drying out.

  • Place the cake box on an even surface.
  • If you are travelling on your own, this can be in the trunk or on the floor in front of the passenger seat.
  • Make sure the cake box is secured, without putting too much pressure on the box, so it cannot move or slide around in the car.
